Phoenixville Free Clinic Welcomes Sheila Rossi as New Volunteer Director

Phoenixville Free Clinic is pleased to announce Sheila Rossi as our new Volunteer Director. Sheila brings over twenty-five years of experience in healthcare project management, patient safety and risk management, hospital strategic planning, and hospital/physician insurance networks. She has led numerous patient safety, business development, and grant projects.


In her new role at Phoenixville Free Clinic, Sheila will oversee the recruitment, training, and coordination of our volunteer team, ensuring that we continue to provide excellent care to our patients.


Previously, Sheila served as the director for a national Patient Safety Organization (PSO), where she led patient safety initiatives, assisting hospitals and physician offices in improving patient safety through adverse event data analysis, root cause analysis, and best practice research. She also held the position of Director of Business Development and Analysis for University of Rochester Medicine Thompson Health in Upstate New York.


Sheila holds a Masters in Health Services Administration from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society with a minor in Economics from the University of Rochester, NY. She resides in Worcester, PA with her husband, son, and two rescue bunnies.
